Best newcomer performance for Dil Se (1998) in Filmfare Awards. Soldier was a step forward towards stardom. Kya Kehna clinched her fate. She is a big conlender for the place in the zenith.

Preity is so pretty, outspoken and a beautiful actress-dancer who keeps smiling all the time with a dimple on her right cheek.
