Khan To Speak German And Turkish

Karan Johar directorial and Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol starrer My Name Is Khan took over the box office with a bang globally, in spite of all the political commotions and protests in the country… Now with a view to reach even more overseas audience, My Name Is Khan will be dubbed in German and Turkish and will be subtitled in Polish.

According Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox STAR Studios India, Every country has a different requirement. In Poland, it will be released with Polish subtitles. In Germany, we want the movie go down much deeper to the German audience and that particular market prefers movie to be dubbed. So that's why we are dubbing it in German and Turkish.

The movie will release in Poland next month in 50 screens - the largest Bollywood release that has happened so far has released in five screens, Singh revealed. And then, it will be releasing at Germany where they will be doing a German dub and a Turkish dub.

Vijay Singh further said that My Name Is Khan is quite different from any other typical, Bollywood movie. While Bollywood movie in India city have a life of two weeks, they are hence releasing the movie over a six month period. From March to the June, they will be releasing the movie in 25 non-traditional markets, Singh added.

My Name Is Khan is a story of Rizvan Khan, who suffers from asperger, falls in love with Mandira. Their happy, love life fall apart when tragedy strikes on September 2001 the infamous US attack.
